We are a small business located in the Great State of Maine, turning out picks by hand, one at a time based on feel and appearance. We started making picks a few years ago, first for personal use, then for a few friends and that blossomed into a business. Most guitarists pay hundreds of dollars for their guitars after searching for that special desired tone. After finding that special guitar, they most often buy a plastic or other man-made material pick for pennies. Some even spend dollars for that little piece of plastic, because of the name or image stamped into the surface. They then struggle with producing their music without that nagging, clicking sound of the pick against the strings. Now comes the next generation of picks, ironically produced by nature and one of the original sources for picks before plastic came along. Wood varies in density, strength, flexibility and appearance from one specie to another. These different characteristics produce different tones against the strings and provide musicians a wide choice of usability. If you have never tried one of our picks, you are missing out on a whole new experience in music. If you have tried our picks, thank you and please check out our constantly changing woods, shapes and specials.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Can you custom order?
Yes. We pride ourselves in manufacturing custom shaped picks to meet the preferences of musicians and can provide a reasonable delivery time for these custom orders.
Is there a limit to what can be ordered?
Yes. We are not a factory and cannot produce these custom picks by the thousands at a time, even though we brag of having the largest inventory in picks on hand at any given point in time, it does take some time to produce large numbers. Our standard picks available through this on-line store are based on current available inventory numbers in real time, so these can be shipped in the same week. If you have any further questions on availability or delivery time, please feel free to contact me. On the other side of the question, buying a few picks is always possible...
